Training terms and conditions
These terms apply when you book a training course with The Hub, the training brand of The Aesthetic Surgery North East Limited, trading as The Aesthetic Surgery | Durham ("we", "us"). By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them. Please read them before you book.
Places are non-refundable, but you can move to a later date once, free of charge, if you tell us at least 7 days before. Your academy access starts as soon as you pay and lasts until 3 months after your live course. Our live masterclasses are certified in-house and are not CPD accredited. You are responsible for your own insurance and for practising safely after the course.

1. Who we are
The Aesthetic Surgery North East Limited, The Station House, Old Station Yard, Langley Park, Durham DH7 9TL. Email hello@theaestheticsurgery.uk, phone 07432 121701.
2. Accreditation and certificates
- The Aesthetic Surgery is a CPD Approved Provider with The CPD Group (provider 780919). Our CPD accredited courses carry the CPD credits shown on each course, which you can check on the public CPD register.
- Our live masterclasses, including the Fat Dissolving Masterclass, are certified in-house and are not CPD accredited. On successful completion you receive a certificate of completion issued by our director and qualified trainer, Lee Jameson-Laffey (Level 3 Award in Education and Training).
- A certificate is issued only when you have passed every academy module, completed the live supervised practical, and had your case study signed off.
- A certificate confirms you completed our training. It is not a licence to practise and does not guarantee that an insurer, employer or local authority will accept it. Check with your insurer before you book.
3. Who can book
- You must be 18 or over.
- Courses are for beauty therapists and aesthetic practitioners. You are responsible for making sure you are legally allowed to carry out the treatment where you work, including any local authority licence or registration.
- You must hold, or arrange before treating anyone, insurance that covers the treatment, and an in-date first aid certificate.
- We may decline or cancel a booking if we reasonably believe the course is not suitable for you. If we do, we will refund you in full.
4. Booking and payment
- Full payment is taken when you book, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. Your place is confirmed when payment is received and you get a confirmation email.
- Early bird prices apply to the first places sold and end when those places are taken.
- Prices include the online academy, the product kit and the live session, unless the course page says otherwise.
5. Cancellations and transfers by you
- Places are non-refundable once booked, except where the law gives you a right to a refund (see below) or we cancel the course.
- You can transfer to a later date once, free of charge, if you tell us in writing at least 7 days before your live session. The transfer must be to a date within 6 months. A second transfer, or a transfer requested less than 7 days before, is at our discretion.
- If your kit has already been posted, you keep it and use it for your new date. We do not replace lost, damaged or expired product.
- If you do not attend the live session and have not transferred, your place is lost and no refund is due.
- Your legal rights: if you book as a consumer (not for your business), you normally have 14 days to cancel. At checkout you ask for immediate access to the academy. Once you have accessed the academy, you lose the right to cancel for the online content, and if you cancel within the 14 days we may deduct a fair amount for the academy access and any kit already sent. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
6. If we change or cancel a course
- If we have to cancel or postpone a live session (for example because of illness or too few bookings), we will offer you a new date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
- We may update course content to keep it accurate and safe. We will not reduce what is included in a way that disadvantages you.
- We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you arrange.
7. The online academy
- Your academy access starts when you pay and lasts until 3 months after your live session, so you can revise and finish your case study.
- Your academy link is personal to you. Do not share it. We may suspend access if it is shared or misused.
- You must pass every module before the live session. If you have not, we may move you to a later date under section 5.
8. Your product kit
- We post your kit to the address you give at booking, before the live session. Check it on arrival and tell us within 48 hours if anything is missing or damaged.
- Store it as instructed and use it only for your model on the live night, under supervision.
- Products used on the course are not licensed medicines in the UK. You use them at your own professional responsibility.
9. The live session and your model
- The live session runs online. You need a suitable treatment room, a stable internet connection, and a camera set up so we can see the treatment area clearly.
- You provide your own model. They must be 18 or over, meet the course criteria, and give their own informed consent. You must send their details through the academy at least 7 days before, and we must approve them before you treat.
- Our trainer may stop or pause a treatment at any time for safety. Their decision is final.
- You are the practitioner treating your model. You are responsible for your model's care, consent, aftercare and records, including after the session.
- Sessions may be recorded for training and quality purposes and shared only with delegates on that course.
- We expect professional, respectful behaviour. We may remove anyone from a session for unsafe or abusive conduct, without a refund.
10. After the course
- You are responsible for practising within your competence, following current guidance, holding suitable insurance and keeping your skills up to date.
- We recommend you treat further clients only once you feel confident, and that you seek support if you are unsure. You can contact us with questions about the course content.
11. Course materials
All course materials, including the academy content, diagrams, videos and templates, belong to The Aesthetic Surgery North East Limited. You may use them for your own learning and adapt the templates we give you (such as the consent form) for your own practice. You may not copy, share, sell or teach from them without our written permission.
12. Our liability
- We provide training. We are not responsible for treatments you carry out, or for any results, complications or claims arising from them, including your model's treatment during the live session.
- Our total liability to you for any course is limited to the price you paid for it.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
13. Your information
We use your details to run your booking, the academy and your certificate, and to contact you about your course. We store your details securely and do not sell them. Your model's details are used only to approve their treatment. You can ask to see or correct your information by emailing hello@theaestheticsurgery.uk.
14. Complaints and law
If you are unhappy, email hello@theaestheticsurgery.uk and we will reply within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
